I got the opportunity to try out my brand spankin' new Rachael Ray Bubble & Brown Casseround! My initial concern was how the handles would hold up to the heat and the weight of what was cooking in the dish......but those worries were for naught! The casseround can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees, but my comfort level with ceramic bakeware would be in the 400 degree range tops.....that's just me and my experience with a ceramic standing chicken bakeware dish that cracked in half at 450 degrees.....live and learn! Anywho.....back to the Bubble & Brown casseround.....the main thing about the casseround is to put it in the oven when the dish is at room temperature.....otherwise, you will risk cracking. It is definitely dishwasher safe, which simplifies my life! What I especially loved about the casseround is the evenness of cooking.....not a hot spot in the pot! This is a beautiful dish that goes from oven to table.....and then pop the whole thing in the fridge to store any leftovers. I'm quite impressed with this casseround.....and love the rainbow of colors available.....though I'm quite partial to the blue! There's a whole line of Bubble & Brown bakeware pieces.....so I guess I better start my wish list right now!
