Resolutions...Say What???

I can safely say that it's been more years than I care to count when I last made a resolution.  It was always the usual.....quit smoking ☑.....lose weight ☐.....save money ☐.....yada yada yada!  My only guess why I even made resolutions was because it's almost expected of you.....kind of like keeping up with the Joneses.  I'm sure that deep within my cranium I was laughing hysterically at the thought of even getting near one of those resolutions.....after all.....aren't they meant to be broken.  My philosophy is.....if you don't even touch the resolution.....how could it possibly be broken!  Regardless of the resolutions.....I start enough things throughout the year where there's always a handful that don't reach completion.....so why in the world would I want to add more to my docket because I made a resolution to do so.  Now if someone were to actually strong arm me into making a resolution.....I guess it would be to organize.....as in getting my butt into the eBay Room and the Craft Room (yea.....I name our rooms.....makes it easier directing the Big Boober on where to find things).  To give you an idea how part of my world is starting to spin out of control.....let me share a couple of proof positive photos.....

See where I'm coming from?  An organization intervention is definitely in my future (hmm.....may be I can get on one of those HGTV shows that swoops in and makes sense of my madness).  In fact, now that I look at the Craft Room pic, it looks a whole lot better in the photo than it actually does in person.  I'm guilty as charged.....I've added more crap to the room!  I think I've got a master plan formulating in my head.....take everything OUT of the room.....KILZ the hell out of the walls and the shelving.....repaint it something less in yo' face.....then put everything back IN the room.  Note the emphasis on "IN".....note to self.....do NOT leave everything on the dining room table forever and a day!  Bottom line.....if I do this project.....it's got to happen ASAP.....because I've got a list of crafts a mile long that needs to happen like yesterday!

The trick to making this project happen is NOT to do that 'organize' resolution.....because I guarantee it will be broken.....and just DO IT!!!  Damn.....sounds so simple.....doesn't it?
