I know, I know.....I posted this entry almost 2 years ago.....but honestly folks.....this is the BEST window cleaner out there. I guarantee you'll never buy another bottle of the store-bought kind ever again.....plus, the likelihood of having all of the ingredients on hand is in your favor. Even the Big Boober comments on those rare occasions when he cleans glass that this is the BEST stuff out there! Give it a go.....then let me know if you agree that this 'Windex' clone is the absolute best!!!
Homemade 'Windex'

You'll Need
- 1/8 cup ammonia
- 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
- 1/4 teaspoon Joy dishwashing soap (or whatever you have under the sink)
- 1 quart water (to fill up to the top)
- Container to hold mixture
Mix all the ingredients together in the spray bottle, adding just enough water to reach the 1-quart mark.
Can also be used to clean exterior windows, just make sure the water is hot as that will help to dissolve the dirt!
