The Doorman

A position has been available at the Gulch for quite some time now.....unfortunately, no one has jumped at this unique job opportunity.  So yesterday I held my chin up high and snagged this full-time job that consists of an insane amount of overtime.....the Doorman!  Doorman to whom you might ask?  A doorman to three dogs that can't quite get the grasp of doing things all at the same time type of doorman.  I've mentioned before that I have a sleigh bell next to the back door.....for the sole convenience of said dogs to nudge with their noses to let their master slave do their bidding to open the damn door.....all.....day.....long!  This position starts shortly after the crack of dawn.....and picks up to a maddingly frenzied pace mid-afternoon when the neighbors let their three rodents pups out to annoy the crap out of my dogs romp and play.  Things start slowing down as we all.....yes, we also includes Mo, Larry, and Curly.....sorry, I mean, Mo, Harley, and Emily.....settle in for several hours in front of the boob tube.....but of course there's those occasional, "I've gotta go right now moments" thrown in for good measure.  I'm really starting to think that these three buggers of ours are smarter than they'll ever let on.....because I'm certain they've got this game going on amongst themselves to see who can tick Mom off first!

Holy crap.....there go the bells.....gotta fly!

Have a Fabulously Friendly Friday!!!

Hi Anne,
I had to laugh when I read your post. I was so proud of myself when I taught our dog Rosie to ring a bell to go outside. I works great unless she sees a squirrel, cat, or the million other things she finds interesting in the backyard. Then it's ring, ring, ring, ring...

Thanks for the nice comments on my coasters. The gel media is waterproof when it dries. I did put an extra coat on the whole thing after I put the graphics on. They were easy to make and turned out great. Good luck!
