Today Is Brought To You By The Letter F

For the longest time I've had a rustic gold-colored 'F' propped up against the wall.  It's sole purpose was to remind one and all who we are here at the Gulch.  That subtle reminder came to an abrupt end last week when I did the big room switcheroo.....and alas, I lost my display shelf.....and the home of the 'F'!  So Plan B came into play when I looked at that lonely 'F' and decided that it needed a family.  No.....'F' is not for family.....though it could be!  Being of the crafty sort.....and frugal to boot.....I decided to make a whole slew of 'F's for the "now in progress" 'F' wall.  I am hell-bent and determined that I'm going to collect 'F's wherever I can.....perhaps they'll need some altering.....or some may just be bare-naked awaiting for me to bring them to life.....like the ones down below.  I've currently got three 'F's waiting for my craftiness.....and I've got a couple arriving in the mail any day now.....plus I'm still trying to come up with a way to display the tiniest 'F' of all, a Scrabble game tile.  These guys.....or gals.....whatever pleases you.....really weren't that difficult or expensive to put together.  In fact, here's a rundown of what I used for each.....

  • Papier-mâché 'F' from Michaels
  • Zebra print scrapbooking paper from eBay
  • Black acrylic paint
  • Liquitex Gloss Heavy Gel Medium
  • E-6000 Glue
  • Picture hanger
  • Craft knife

  • Wooden 'F' from Hobby Lobby
  • Black laser-cut scrapbooking paper from Archiver's
  • Pink acrylic paint
  • Liquitex Gloss Heavy Gel Medium
  • E-6000 Glue
  • Picture hanger
  • Craft knife

  • Wooden craft picture frame from Michaels
  • Ceramic 'F' tile from Hobby Lobby
  • Scrapbooking paper from Archiver's
  • Black acrylic paint
  • Liquitex Gloss Heavy Gel Medium
  • Liquid Fusion Clear Urethane Glue
  • E-6000 Glue
  • Picture hanger
  • Craft knife

Lighting was a bit off...but I wanted you to better see the edge detail which shows up clearer in the picture down below...

If anyone wants detailed directions for each of these 'F's, please make a comment and I'll respond to your request.

Honestly folks.....these are easy weasy to make!  So take your hands off of that keyboard right this instant and start making your own personal letter wall!!!

Have a Monstrously Merry Monday!!!
