My Snugglys

We're starting to get some cold nights in our neck of the woods.  As in shiver me timbers brrr chilly beanie cold!!!  This is the kind of cold where even in all my menopausalness (if that's not a word...it should be).....I can't get warm no matter how hard I try.  My fingers are chilled to the bone.....all I can think about is getting as toasty as possible.....and as quickly as possible.  Since we're not accustomed to long stretches of cold like in other parts of the country.....the few REALLY chilly evenings we experience here definitely need to be dealt with in as warm of a pair of PJ's as possible.  Now for yours truly.....all I've got in my drawers are two.....sad to say, but yes, two warm nightclothes!  One is a granny gown.....long sleeves.....to the floor.....up to my chin.....and PURE WHITE.....as in I look like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!  I'd have put a pic of me on here just to prove it.....but I didn't want to scare you away!   So here's a close second.....

Then there's my other warm outfit.....a VERY colorful.....VERY florally.....pair of PJ's.  I look like a field of springtime flowers.....a very BIG field of springtime flowers!  Again, I don't want to scare you away.....but this is pretty much what I look like.....

I wish I had my camera in hand for every time the Big Boober sees me coming in either of those sultry outfits.....I'm not sure whether he's ready to bust a gut from laughter.....or if the shock of all that white -or- field of flowers is too much for his eyes.....but the man does value his life.....and dares not utter one insulting word!
