How Do You Spell Stress...WWW.COM

Okay.....after what I did with my blog this week, I deserve a mental breakdown.  If you haven't noticed yet, this blog is officially a dot com.....as in.....www.calamityanne.com!!!  I thought I was hot sh*t the other day when I finally mastered Printable Recipes.....then putting the cherry on top of that.....I FINALLY was able to figure out how to attach the domain name that I've been sitting on for almost a year now.  It helps getting that reminder that monies are due for something you haven't even put into motion.  So motion time it was.....and with LOTS and LOTS of searching.....plus one "I give in" call to GoDaddy.....I finally have my domain name attached to this blog!  PHEW!!!  I certainly blew most of yesterday getting this set up.....come on now, I'm a bonafide non-geek here.....and what that means.....if I can't find someone to do computer stuff for me, then I've got to do it myself.....and I really can't tell you how much that doesn't excite me.  I can't tell you how much I wanted someone to knock on my front door yesterday and say "Computer Geek calling"!!!  That would have been too sweet.....but that was so in the wishful thinking department.  Some of you are probably wondering why the Big Boober "aka Agent Dan of Geek Squad" didn't do this for me.  Easy answer.....I really wanted to prove to myself that I could do it without a speck of help.....AND.....I wanted to surprise him when he got home from work with my great accomplishment.  I think he was pleased......though he seemed more underwhelmed than I was hoping for.....but then again.....he was dead tired on his feet.....and when his feet hurt.....his thinking hurts.....it's just a vicious cycle!

So for those of you who have the Blogger address stowed away.....no problem.....it still works like a charm!  If you really want to get jiggy, then add my new dot com to your favorites.....and click to your heart's desire!

To those of you who tried to get on earlier yesterday and got a vicious message saying that the world was going to end if you clicked "THE" button.....don't worry.....that was my bad!

As I sit here and type this entry, I'm wishing I still drank.....because these two accomplishments definitely deserve a toast!  So for now.....I'll just wrap my arms around me and give myself a well-deserved hug!
