I've been having a bit of a craving for chocolate lately.....so I finally threw up my hands and decided to make something chocolatey with what I've got in the pantry!  So with a bit of a recipe search.....and a check to make sure I had all the ingredients.....this is what came out of my oven.....in all its chocolatey deliciousness!!!

You'll Need
  • 12 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1-1/2 cups white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter.  Stirring constantly, add the cocoa powder, until well blended.

Stir in the sugar.

Mix in the eggs and vanilla until thoroughly incorporated.

Add the flour, and continue stirring until completely blended.

Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish.  Bake in your pre-heated oven for 25-30 minutes (original recipe called for 35 minutes).  Test for doneness with a toothpick inserted in center of brownies.
