Sauteed Mushrooms

Print
I LOVE mushrooms, and the richer the better! Unfortunately I live in a household (both currently and when the kids used to live here) that don't like fungi. Thank you lawd for giving me a daughter-in-law who loves mushies! I still don't cook them as often as I'd like, but I now know I have someone who will partake of them with me. This was a clone recipe that I found, but I doctored it to my liking. Hope you enjoy!

1 pound mushrooms
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons margarine
1/4 cup chopped onion
2-4 beef bouillon cubes, smashed
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper

Rinse off mushrooms, and trim stems. Melt the butter and margarine; then add the beef bouillon, onions, garlic powder and black pepper. Simmer mushrooms in mixture until soft.
